If you can see the top of Lincoln’s head, then the tread is too low.
Air Pressure is Important for Efficiency
Also make sure to check the air pressure in each tire. This should be done on a regular basis to ensure proper inflation. Each tire should meet the proper amount of air pressure that is designated in the vehicle owner’s manual. If the tires are under inflated it could lead to poor wear. It could also mean an increase for the chance of a blow out. If the tires are over inflated, they will have less contact with the surface of the road. This can result in a bouncy and uncomfortable ride. Over inflated tires are also more prone to pick up sharp objects that might be on the surface of the road. Do Not Forget About the Spare Tire
When you check the tires, also remember to inspect the spare tire. The tire will need to be inspected for tread wear, air pressure, and the overall condition of it.
